Morris Nichols Welcomes Two Corporate Litigation Attorneys
Morris Nichols is pleased to announce that Elise Wolpert and James Mansfield, two experienced litigators, have joined the firm’s Corporate & Commercial Litigation practice.

Elise K. Wolpert is an experienced trial attorney and appellate advocate. She started her legal career in Delaware focused on criminal defense cases. Having gained valuable courtroom experience, her work on complex commercial civil disputes has covered both jury and bench trials. Elise has substantial familiarity with the Delaware Superior Court’s Complex Commercial Litigation Division (CCLD), the Delaware Chancery Court, the Delaware Supreme Court, and other Delaware courts.
Elise also devotes her time to pro bono and community organizations, serving as an attorney guardian ad litem in the Family Court for the State of Delaware and participating in expungement clinics.
Before joining Morris Nichols, Elise worked in the corporate and commercial litigation department at another prominent Delaware law firm. While in law school, she clerked in the Delaware Office of Defense Services Appellate Division. Elise earned her JD from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2015, and her BA in Law and Society from the University of Delaware in 2012.
James Mansfield focuses on complex commercial litigation matters. He started his legal career working at two prominent New York City law firms, where he concentrated on securities litigation and other commercial disputes.
James graduated summa cum laude from Washington University School of Law in 2018. He earned his BA magna cum laude in political science from York College of Pennsylvania in 2014.
