Morris Nichols’ Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group Welcomes Scott Jones
Morris Nichols is pleased to announce that Scott D. Jones has joined the firm’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring group as an attorney.
Scott’s practice concentrates on corporate restructuring, both in court and out of court, and bankruptcy litigation. Prior to joining Morris Nichols, he was an associate at a bankruptcy boutique law firm in Delaware. While in law school, Scott served as a judicial intern in federal bankruptcy court and state court.
Before entering private practice and law school, Scott was a police officer with the Wilmington Police Department. He spent most of his 20-year law enforcement career as an investigator, Sergeant, and Lieutenant within the Criminal Investigations Division.
Scott earned his JD (2019) cum laude from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law; MBA (2014) in finance from the University of Delaware; and BA (2014) summa cum laude in criminal justice from Wilmington University.
