Curtis Miller Recognized Among T&W Outstanding Restructuring Lawyers of 2024

Turnarounds & Workouts magazine has selected Morris Nichols partner Curtis Miller as one of its “Outstanding Restructuring Lawyers of 2024.” Curtis is one of 15 lawyers selected for their pivotal role steering a corporate restructuring transaction during the past 12 to 18 months.

Curtis’ practice focuses on corporate restructuring, bankruptcy and litigation. Over the course of his career at Morris Nichols, he has been involved in more than 100 bankruptcy matters within the Delaware Bankruptcy Court, one of the most prominent courts in the country. Among his successes in the past 18 months, Curtis was lead debtor’s counsel to biotechnology company Zymergen and its affiliated debtors. The case was very successful in terms of speed and projected returns to creditors. Zymergen, a subsidiary of Ginkgo Bioworks, filed for bankruptcy protection in October 2023. Just two months later in December 2023, Zymergen’s asset sale was approved.  In February 2024, the court confirmed Zymergen’s plan of liquidation which projected significant creditor recoveries.
