Jeremy A. Tigan

Jeremy is an IP litigation partner at Morris Nichols and served as the head of the practice group from 2020-2024. His practice focuses on patent infringement and trade secret disputes before the US District Court for the Delaware District Court.
Acting as lead or Delaware counsel to clients from a variety of industries, his work tends to concentrate on semiconductors, software, pharmaceuticals, and consumer products technologies.
His experience includes bench and jury trials in the District of Delaware as well as appeals before the Third and Federal Circuits. He frequently argues motions and discovery disputes in the District of Delaware, examines and cross-examines witnesses, and takes the lead on pre- and post-trial matters and appeals.
Jeremy has been ranked as a leading Delaware patent litigator by various research publications, including Chambers USA, IAM Patent 1000, Managing Intellectual Property’s IP Stars, The Best Lawyers in America, and Delaware Super Lawyers.
From 2021-2023, Jeremy served as president of the Delaware Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and has served on the organizing committee for the biannual District of Delaware Bench & Bar Conference for over a decade.
