Patrick J. Buethe
Pat is an associate with the Commercial Law Counseling group.
His practice focuses on partnership, limited liability company and statutory trust law, as well as administrative law, government entities and regulation, and unclaimed property.
Pat graduated with honors from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where he completed a concentration in business enterprise. He also served as the notes editor of the Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property and summer law clerk for the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business.
While at law school, he gained legal experience advising business startups as an intensive clinic student in the Donald Pritzker Entrepreneurship Law Center and as an extern to the Honorable Jerry A. Esrig of the State of Illinois Cook County Circuit Court.
Prior to pursuing his law degree, Pat joined Teach for America as a Launch Fellow in Denver, where he taught mathematics for two years.
