PLI’s Mergers & Acquisitions 2024: Advanced Trends and Developments

The Practising Law Institute hosts “Mergers & Acquisitions 2024: Advanced Trends and Developments,” an annual program featuring insights from leading US legal and investment banking professionals from February 1-2, 2024.

Morris Nichols partner Patricia Vella co-chairs the program. On February 1, she co-leads the panel, “Deal Protections and Topping Bids.” Discussion topics include:

• Identify “what’s market” for deal protections
• Understand how bidders can navigate customary no-shop provisions to make topping bids
• Understand what targets of topping bids can do to act in the best interests of their shareholders
