PLI Delaware Law Developments 2021: What All Business Lawyers Need to Know
Delaware law continues to play a critical role in US corporate and securities law, particularly in today’s challenging and changing business environment.
The Practising Law Institute (PLI) hosts a day-long program focused on the important Delaware corporate law developments over the past year and how they impact corporate or legal practice. Faculty from the Delaware judiciary, leading law firms, corporations, and academia examine the latest case law and practical trends, and share real-world experiences and insights on issues of concern to the corporate/securities legal community.
Morris Nichols partners Tarik Haskins and Tricia Vella will speak on the “Transactional Lessons” session. Panelists will discuss recent lessons from the pandemic and case law in structuring deals (with an emphasis on MAE provisions and ordinary course covenants), technical missteps in approving and documenting transactions and how to fix them, as well as other recent developments.
CLE opportunities are available. For more information, visit the PLI registration page.
