After two days of deliberations, on December 20, 2024, a Delaware jury rejected Arm Ltd.’s claim that Qualcomm Inc. had breached a license agreement covering custom CPUs and granted Qualcomm’s counterclaim that it is licensed to provide those CPUs.

Together with co-counsel from Paul Weiss and Norton Rose Fulbright, Qualcomm is represented by Morris Nichols attorneys Jack Blumenfeld, Jennifer Ying, and Travis Murray.

The high-profile dispute involves two major players in the computer industry who design chips that power a wide range of technology, including computers, smartphones and automotive devices.
