Morris Nichols Welcomes Six Attorneys
Morris Nichols is delighted to welcome six attorneys to the firm. They all bring prior experience from judicial clerkships and private litigation practice. These attorneys span four of the firm’s core practice areas, including Alternative Entity Counseling, Commercial Transactions, Bankruptcy & Restructuring, and Corporate & Commercial Litigation.

Taylor A. Christensen served as a law clerk to the Honorable Mary Miller Johnston of the Superior Court of Delaware before joining Morris Nichols. He will practice in the firm’s Corporate & Commercial Litigation group. Taylor earned his JD (2022) with honors from the Washington and Lee University School of Law; and BS (2015) in business management from the Brigham Young University, Marriott School of Business.
Christine K. Fletcher joins Morris Nichols’ Commercial Law Counseling group following a clerkship in the Superior Court of Delaware, where she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Vivian L. Medinilla. Her practice will encompass alternative entity counseling and commercial transactions. Christine earned her JD (2022) magna cum laude from Temple University Beasley School of Law, MSc (2013) in social policy from the London School of Economics, MA (2012) in international studies from the University of Sydney, and LLB (2007) bachelor of laws from Yonsei University.
Avery J. Meng will practice in the firm’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring group. Prior to joining Morris Nichols, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Reneta L. Green-Streett of the Superior Court of Delaware. Avery earned her JD (2022) from the William & Mary Law School; and BA (2017) in history and a minor in political science from the University of Washington.
Echo Qian joins Morris Nichols’ Bankruptcy & Restructuring group from a prominent New York law firm where she was an associate focused on bankruptcy and finance. She earned her JD (2022) from Harvard Law School; and LLB (2019) from Nanjing Normal University.
Benjamin D. Smith joins Morris Nichols’ Corporate & Commercial Litigation group following a clerkship to the Honorable Denis P. Cohen of the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas. Ben earned his JD (2022) from the Boston College Law School; and BA (2019) in political science and legal studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Erin L. Williamson joins Morris Nichols’ Bankruptcy & Restructuring group following a clerkship at the Superior Court of Delaware, where she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles E. Butler. Erin earned her JD (2022) from the George Washington University Law School; and BS (2018) cum laude in music industry from Drexel University.
