Morris Nichols Elects Mac Measley, Andrew Remming, Jason Russell as Partners; Karl Randall as Special Counsel

Wilmington, DE (January 4, 2016) - Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP is pleased to announce that Mac Measley, Andrew Remming and Jason Russell have been elected partners, and that Karl Randall has been promoted to special counsel, effective January 1, 2016. “We are proud to congratulate Mac, Andrew, Jason, and Karl on reaching these milestones in their careers,” said Rodger D. Smith II, chair of the firm’s executive committee.

D. McKinley (Mac) Measley joined Morris Nichols in 2008 and is a member of the firm’s Corporate & Business Litigation Group. His practice focuses on corporate and alternative entity litigation and commercial disputes before the Delaware Court of Chancery, the Delaware Superior Court, and the Delaware Supreme Court, as well as statutory proceedings authorized under Delaware’s business statutes, including appraisal cases, demands for books and records, and requests for dissolution and receiverships. Mac also regularly advises boards of directors and special committees in internal investigations, and stockholder derivative demands. He is a 2007 graduate of the Columbia University School of Law where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Prior to joining Morris Nichols, Mac served as a law clerk to former Vice Chancellor Stephen P. Lamb of the Delaware Court of Chancery.

Andrew R. Remming joined Morris Nichols in 2008 and is a member of the firm’s Business Reorganization & Restructuring Group. His practice focuses on corporate restructuring and bankruptcy. Andrew is a 2007 graduate of Boston College Law School where he served as managing editor of the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter-Digest. Prior to joining Morris Nichols, he was law clerk to the Honorable Christopher S. Sontchi of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

R. Jason Russell joined Morris Nichols in 2007 and is a member of the firm’s Commercial Law Counseling Group. His practice focuses on limited liability company, partnership (including MLPs) and statutory trust law, and also a broad range of commercial matters, including mergers, asset acquisitions, joint ventures, and financing transactions, and the preparation of Delaware legal opinions. He is presently the Vice-Chair of the Commercial Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association. Jason is also significantly involved with bank regulatory matters and unclaimed property audits, compliance and voluntary disclosure programs. He graduated cum laude in 2007 from Villanova University School of Law where he served as symposium editor and staff member of the Villanova Law Sports & Entertainment Law Journal. 

Karl G. Randall joined Morris Nichols in 2007 and is a member of the firm’s Corporate & Business Litigation Group. He has primarily litigated in the Superior Court’s Complex Commercial Litigation Division (CCLD) since its creation in May 2010, but has also practiced before the Delaware Supreme Court and Court of Chancery, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. Karl serves on the Superior Court’s Civil Rules Committee and is a past Council member of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Litigation Section. He is a 2007 cum laude graduate of American University’s Washington College of Law where he served as a staff member of the Journal of Gender, Social Policy and the Law.
