Morris Nichols Highlighted in Lex Machina Patent Litigation Report 2022
Today, legal analytics platform Lex Machina unveiled its 2022 Patent Litigation Report. The annual report looks at trends in federal district courts over a three-year period.
Morris Nichols is mentioned as one of the most-active US law firms by district court cases filed, appearing among firms representing plaintiffs (#5), as well as firms representing defendants (#3).
The report distinguishes Morris Nichols as the only firm appearing among both top 10 lists, noting, “as local counsel in the District of Delaware, they generally do not represent High-Volume Plaintiffs, while they do defend against them in 42% of their cases representing defendants.”
By focusing on our IP litigation practice in Delaware, and serving both clients and co-counsel, Morris Nichols is uniquely positioned on both sides of the “v.” We have successfully litigated cases involving products and services in all areas of technology and for clients across a broad range of industries, including branded pharmaceutical companies in Hatch-Waxman and Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) litigation.
