Law360: These Firms Are Landing The Most Patent Litigation Work

Law360 reported on the US law firms with the most district court litigation filings from 2019 to 2021, according to data from legal analytics provider Lex Machina.

Morris Nichols uniquely appeared on rankings for both the defendants’ and plaintiffs’ side, as it has in previous years.

“We hover around a third of all the patent cases in Delaware,” reflected Morris Nichols IP litigator Michael Flynn. He attributed the firm’s leading position to an established focus on practice before the District of Delaware, which can translate to strong strategic representation. “We help navigate co-counsel or clients on the best way to present an issue to a particular judge to make it compelling and in the most efficient way.”
