Jialu gained legal experience working as an intern to the Honorable Sara L. Doyle of the Georgia Court of Appeals.
Jialu received her law degree from Emory University School of Law, where she completed the Transactional Law Certificate Program and was managing editor of the Emory International Law Review. She also served as treasurer of the Chinese American Law Students Association, was a member of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, and the Emory Corporate and Business Law Society. Jialu also volunteered her time with a law student eviction defense program through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.
