
Casey Sawyer

Casey focuses on corporate bankruptcy litigation and restructuring.
He has experience with national and regional clients as both lead and co-counsel, including debtors, official committees of unsecured creditors, secured creditors and lenders, and other parties in interest. Recently, Casey has been a member of the team representing the debtors in the chapter 11 bankruptcy cases of Big Lots, Inc., Kidde-Fenwal, Inc., Onyx Owner, LLC, and Number Holdings, Inc. (d/b/a 99 Cents Only Stores).
During law school, Casey was a staff member of the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal, where his note was published. He also volunteered his time with the Special Education Advocacy Clinic and the Low-Income Tax Clinic, and completed an internship with the Alaska Department of Law. Casey obtained his undergraduate degree from Fordham University, where he was a member of the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Swimming and Diving Team.
