14th Annual Mergers and Acquisitions Institute

The University of Texas presents the annual Mergers and Acquisitions Institute from October 4-5, 2018 in Dallas. The two-day conference features nationally recognized speakers on deal trends, pitfalls and opportunities in M&A.

On Friday, October 5, 2018, Morris Nichols partner Melissa DiVincenzo co-presents the session, “More Kicking and Screaming: Developments in Drag-Alongs and Other Minority Stockholder Squeeze-Out Techniques.” Panelists will provide perspective from the standpoint of both the minority ownership and the majority ownership, in a wide-ranging discussion on planning for, implementing and, as necessary, resolving disputes related to, situations involving minority ownership stakes. Speakers will also review recent developments and current best practices in dealing with issues that range from orderly process to confrontation.
