Strategies for Recent IP Developments: Patentability 101 and AIA Effects on Litigation

On April 14, 2015, Morris Nichols and the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Greater Philadelphia Delaware Valley chapter will host an IP CLE and networking reception in Wilmington, Del.  Morris Nichols partner Julie Heaney and attorney Jennifer Ying will join Comcast Corporation Assistant General Counsel George Medlock in a panel discussion on “Strategies for Recent IP Developments: Patentability 101 and AIA Effects on Litigation.” The panel will review recent cases and analyze trends in the law of patentable subject matter, and the potential implications on both valuation and litigation of patents.  They will also explore strategies to deal with the effects of the America Invents Act (AIA) on district court litigation.
