Society's 2014 Delaware Law Issues Update

From Nov. 19 to 20, the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals will host the 2014 Delaware Law Issues Update at the University of Delaware in Newark, Del.  Morris Nichols partner William M. Lafferty will moderate the first panel of the conference on “Issues Relating to Recent Shareholder Activism.”  The Honorable J. Travis Laster, Vice Chancellor, will participate on the panel which will discuss how to prepare for and how to advise a board during and after an activist intervention. The panel will also explore recent case law on the use of poison pills.
