DSBA‘s CLE Program on New Delaware Data Privacy Law
On December 9, 2024, the Delaware State Bar Association hosts a seminar discussing Delaware’s new comprehensive data privacy act that gives consumers more control over their personal data. The law takes effect January 1, 2025.
Morris Nichols partner Jennifer Ying moderates the panel featuring Delaware Deputy Attorney Generals John Eakins and Brian Canfield. Discussion topics include how the DPDPA intersects with the existing framework of laws in Delaware, including business, contract, and consumer protection laws, as well as insights and practical guidance on developing compliance frameworks, conducting data audits, and implementing privacy-by-design principles within organizations.
CLE opportunities are available. For more information on this event, please visit the DSBA website.
