The Delaware primary trial courts, the Court of Chancery and the Superior Court, as well as the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, have been experiencing a significant increase in litigation surrounding the effects of the pandemic on contractual rights, obligations and defenses to performance. On July 28, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. EST, the Delaware State Bar Association will host a virtual program addressing litigation related to COVID-19.
Morris Nichols partner Megan Ward Cascio will serve on a panel with other litigators to discuss COVID-19 influenced and related litigation, specifically enforcement and defenses to compliance with contractual obligations.
