42nd Annual Securities Regulation Institute

The Northwestern University School of Law will host the 42nd Annual Securities Regulation Institute from Jan. 26 to 28, 2015 in Coronado, Calif.  The three-day conference provides timely analysis of recent laws and developments in the corporate and securities law fields presented by senior SEC officials, renowned judges, and leading practitioners.

On Jan. 28, 2015, Morris Nichols partner Patricia O. Vella will join the panel on “Current Issues in Delaware General Corporation Law.”  Participants will discuss stock plans and Delaware law, strategies for squeeze-out mergers, the state of Revlon in 2015, and handling defective corporate acts.  Myron T. Steele of Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP will chair the session.  Patricia’s fellow panelists include Elena C. Norman of Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor LLP and Gregory P. Williams of Richards, Layton & Finger.
