35th Annual Ray Garrett Jr. Corporate and Securities Law Institute
From April 30 to May 1, 2015, the Northwestern University School of Law hosts the 35th Annual Ray Garrett Jr. Corporate and Securities Law Institute. Established in memory of Ray Garrett Jr., chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the conference brings together senior officials from the SEC, private practitioners and corporate counsel for analysis of current securities and corporate law developments.
Morris Nichols partner William M. Lafferty will serve as a panelist in the session on “Responding to Demands for Books and Records: Perspectives on Section 220 of the Delaware Code” on May 1. The panel will discuss attorney-client privilege, fiduciary duty, the “credible evidence” standard, and demands for documents.
