2018 ABA Business Law Section Spring Meeting
The American Bar Association hosts the Business Law Section spring meeting from April 12 to 14, 2018 in Orlando, Fla. Several Morris Nichols partners will attend the conference as committee leaders and speakers, sharing insights on M&A, private equity and venture capital, and alternative entities.
Morris Nichols partner Eric Klinger-Wilensky chairs the Private Equity and Venture Capital Committee. He will join Jeff Wolters on Friday, April 13, as the PEVC committee presents, “Analysis of the Latest NVCA Form Documents.” Jeff and his co-panelists will discuss model venture capital document updates recently released by National Venture Capital Association (NVCA). The changes address mechanisms of the Delaware Rapid Arbitration Act. Jeff serves on the NVCA general counsel advisory board.
Also on Friday, Lou Hering presents a “LLC Case Law Update” for the LLC’s Partnerships and Unincorporated Entities committee, with emphasis on Delaware developments.
Tarik Haskins will co-chair the Secured Lending and Secured Transactions joint subcommittee meeting on Friday morning.
On Friday afternoon, Morris Nichols partner Melissa DiVincenzo speaks on survival clauses in the M&A committee session, “Recent Developments in M&A Law - Insight from the M&A Lawyers Library.”
