2016 ABA Business Law Section Spring Meeting
The Business Law Section of the American Bar Association will host the 2016 Spring Meeting in Montreal from April 7 to 9, 2016. Five Morris Nichols attorneys will participate in speaking roles at the conference, discussing developments in LLCs, M&A, and dispute resolution.
Morris Nichols partner Tarik Haskins serves as a panelist in the LLCs, Partnerships and Unincorporated Entities Committee program, “Key Considerations for LLC Interest Collateral” on April 7. On the following day, firm partner Lou Hering will speak in the committee’s Annual LLC Case Law Update, presenting “2016 Summary of Delaware Case Law Relating to Alternative Entities.”
Also on April 8, former Vice Chancellor and Morris Nichols senior counsel Donald F. Parsons, Jr. serves as a panelist in the Dispute Resolution Committee program, “Managing Cross-Border M&A Disputes for Effective Resolution and Enforcement.” View Don’s presentation slides here. At the Public Companies Subcommittee meeting, Morris Nichols partner Melissa DiVincenzo presents on Section 203 issues. Melissa will also present on cross border M&A issues at the International M&A Subcommittee meeting.
On April 9, Don Parsons and Melissa DiVincenzo serve as panelists in the Mergers and Acquisitions Committee program, “Cases that Matter: Recent Cases Affecting M&A Negotiations and Drafting.” In the afternoon, Morris Nichols partner and ABA Envoy Program member Eric Klinger-Wilensky will speak at the Financial Advisor Task Force meeting.
